Construction and Design

The Educational Training Steam Boiler (100kg/h) ThermoFlux - 7107 is constructed as a vertical, 3-pass water tube boiler mounted on a single skid in package configuration. Water is contained within high-pressure boiler-grade seamless mild steel tubes. The shell is fabricated from high-pressure boiler-grade steel sheet, and the steam tank is high-pressure boiler-grade steel. The entire boiler is insulated with 2" to 3" thick ceramic wool to minimize heat loss.

The LAMBORGHINI ITALY burner is positioned centrally within the circular tube bundle. Heat from the burner transfers to the water inside the tubes, and the hot water self-circulates through the 3-pass arrangement. A boiler stack handles smoke extraction for safe indoor laboratory use.

The steam outlet port incorporates a steam separator and a DN25 valve. The condenser is a thick-walled shell-and-tube cylinder, with condensate flowing through the tubes and cooling water on the shell side. Both the training steam boiler and condenser units are arranged together on the skid for a compact, single-installation footprint.

The feed water side includes a two-stage resin filter, an activated carbon water softener with manual service valves, a stainless steel soft water tank, a water meter with totalizer, and a centrifugal high-pressure pump. Safety architecture includes two high-pressure switches, one mechanical pressure relief valve, a digital temperature controller, a bimetallic over-temperature device, a safety valve, and a pressure gauge. Level control uses electrode-based two-point switching supported by a sight glass.
