Refrigeration Compressor Fault Simulator | PolarX - 572

Category: Refrigeration and Air Conditioning  ·  Country of Origin: India

Product Overview

The Refrigeration Compressor Fault Simulator PolarX - 572 trains students to detect electrical issues in refrigeration systems using a real refrigerant compressor from practice (approx. 850W). This Refrigeration Compressor Fault Simulator enables simulation of faults including motor coil fracture, operating capacitor short circuit, welded start-up relay contacts, and condenser or evaporator fan faults. Electrical components, including start-up capacitor, operating capacitor, and bimetallic overheat protection, are wired and clearly visible, monitored by 5 Type-k temperature sensors. Optional LABVIEW-based DAQ software supports automated data measurement.

Construction and Design
The Refrigeration Compressor Fault Simulator PolarX - 572 is built around a real refrigerant compressor from practice, with all electrical components wired and clearly visible on a panel. General safety devices, including the main contactor, are mounted for easy visibility. The system includes a condenser with fan cool, continuous tubing and external fins, an evaporator with forced air and continuous tubing, and a thermostatic expansion valve. The unit is part of the practical training series for mechatronics engineers specializing in refrigeration.

Software
PolarX - 572 (optional). A DAQ software package, specially designed in National Instruments LABVIEW environment, measures and calculates the results of the apparatus. The software is optional. When the software is used, a set of electronic sensors is included. The software can be run on any Windows environment.
