A heat exchanger is fitted for refrigerant supercooling at the inlet of the two evaporators. Valves allow individual or parallel operation of the two chambers. The circuit uses R134a, a CFC-free refrigerant. A pressure switch is fitted on the delivery and intake side of the compressor. The trainer includes a process schematic with signal lamps to indicate the operating state of selected components, along with manometers for direct pressure readings.
