Each reactor is fitted with a stirrer driven by a variable speed brushless geared motor at 300min⁻¹, and a chambered bottom made of stainless steel functioning as a heat exchanger. Reactors are mounted on the supply unit, secured by two pins, and connected via quick-release connections. Two pumps transport reactants into the first reactor, with the product and unconverted reactants transferred through an overflow into the second and third reactors in turn, using two additional peristaltic pumps for intermediate delivery. A combined conductivity and temperature sensor identifies conversion in each reactor, with values digitally displayed on the supply unit.
