Construction and Design

The Tubular Flow Reactor ReaktiLabX - 06 uses a concentric type stainless steel tube reactor, with an inside diameter of 6mm and a capacity of approximately 280mL, housed in a polycarbonate shell. A T-piece with 2 nozzles mixes the two reactants at its center before they enter the concentric tube. Two peristaltic pumps, each with a maximum flow rate of approximately 500mL/min, deliver reactants and products. A water pump, rated 10L/min maximum flow, 10m maximum head, and 120W/min power consumption, circulates water through the heating circuit, supported by a heater rated 3000W/min power consumption. Tanks include two 10L reactant tanks, a 10L product tank, and a 15L heating water tank. A combined conductivity and temperature sensor, digitally displayed, measures conversion in the tubular reactor. Silicon pipe connections simplify reactor connection.

Software

Software ReaktiLabX - 06 (optional). DAQ software specially designed in National Instrument™, LABVIEW™ environment to measure and calculate the results of the apparatus. The software is optional; a set of electronic sensors is included when the software is used. The software can be run with any Windows™ environment.
