What types of lab equipment does Scientico India manufacture?
Scientico India manufactures educational laboratory equipment in four main categories: engineering training equipment (fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, strength of materials, theory of machines, heat transfer, process engineering, renewable energy, water treatment), nursing lab equipment (CPR manikins, anatomy models, obstetric manikins, clinical trainers), pharmacy lab apparatus (dissolution testers, tablet hardness testers, disintegration apparatus), and medical teaching aids. We have been manufacturing since 1993 and supply to engineering colleges, nursing institutions, pharmacy colleges, polytechnics, and universities.
Can equipment be customised to match our specific university syllabus?
Yes. Customisation is one of the areas where Indian manufacturers have a clear advantage over European suppliers. We routinely modify apparatus specifications to match specific university syllabuses (Anna University, VTU, RTU, WBTU, and others), adjust equipment dimensions for available lab space, configure power supply specifications for local grid standards, and add university-specific labelling. Customisation requests should be submitted with your syllabus document or experiment list at the time of inquiry — there is typically no significant premium for standard modifications.
Do you supply complete lab setups or individual equipment only?
Both. We supply complete lab setups for new institutions — covering all equipment for a department, with layout planning assistance and installation support — and individual apparatus for expanding or replacing existing labs. For complete lab setups, we provide a Bill of Quantities (BOQ) mapped to your accreditation body’s requirements (NBA, ABET, AICTE, INC, PCI, KNEC, CHED).
Certifications & Quality
Is Scientico India’s lab equipment CE certified?
Yes. Scientico India’s engineering training equipment, nursing lab equipment, and pharmacy lab apparatus carry CE marking, certifying conformity with applicable European Union safety and performance directives. CE certification is available to manufacturers worldwide — it certifies the product, not the country of origin. A CE Declaration of Conformity is provided with every order and can be presented in accreditation documentation for NBA, ABET, CAA (UAE), NCAAA (Saudi Arabia), KNEC (Kenya), and CHED (Philippines). Do you provide calibration certificates with equipment?
Yes. Calibration certificates traceable to national measurement standards are provided with all apparatus that involves quantified measurements — flow meters, pressure gauges, thermocouples, load cells, and other instrumented equipment. Calibration records are included in the shipping documentation and are available as separate documents for accreditation submissions.
Is Scientico ISO 9001:2015 certified?
Yes. Scientico India holds ISO 9001:2015 certification for our Quality Management System, covering the design, manufacture, testing, and supply of educational laboratory equipment. Independent audits are conducted at defined intervals. Our ISO certificate is available on request for institutional procurement files.
Ordering & Pricing
What is the minimum order quantity?
There is no strict minimum order quantity. We supply single units for replacement purposes as well as complete lab setups for new institutions. For international export orders, the practical minimum is typically USD 2,000–3,000 to make the shipping economics viable, but this is not a formal minimum — contact us to discuss your requirements.
How do I get a proforma invoice for my institution?
Email your equipment list or experiment requirements to [email protected] with your institution name, country, and port of destination (for international orders). We provide a detailed proforma invoice — including unit prices, packing, and CIF freight to your destination port — within 24 hours on working days. For a Bill of Quantities mapped to a specific accreditation standard, include the name of your accreditation body and programme.
What payment terms do you accept for export orders?
For export orders, our standard payment terms are 50% advance with order confirmation and 50% balance before dispatch against a copy of shipping documents. We accept payment via bank wire transfer (SWIFT/NEFT/RTGS), Letter of Credit (LC at sight) for large orders, and online payment for smaller orders. We do not accept cheques for international transactions. For government institution orders under tender, we can accommodate payment terms specified in the tender document.
Shipping & Delivery
How long does manufacturing and delivery take?
Standard manufacturing lead time is 4–6 weeks from order confirmation for most apparatus. For large orders (complete lab setups) or heavily customised equipment, lead time is 6–10 weeks. Once manufactured and quality-checked, dispatch is within 2–3 working days. Shipping transit times: India domestic 3–7 days, GCC/UAE 8–14 days, East Africa (Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda) 18–26 days, Southeast Asia (Philippines, Bangladesh) 14–22 days. We use established freight forwarders for all export shipments and provide tracking details after dispatch.
Do you handle customs clearance for international shipments?
We handle export customs clearance from India, including preparing all required export documentation: commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading/airway bill, certificate of origin, and CE conformity documents. Import customs clearance at the destination is the responsibility of the buyer. We provide complete HS code classification for all items to assist your clearing agent. For countries with duty exemption schemes for educational equipment, we can provide supporting documents to facilitate duty-free import where applicable.
Warranty & After-Sales
What warranty do you offer on lab equipment?
Scientico India provides a 12-month warranty on all equipment against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty period begins from the date of dispatch. Warranty covers repair or replacement of defective components at no charge. Warranty does not cover damage from misuse, improper installation, or normal wear. For international orders, warranty support is provided remotely via video call, WhatsApp troubleshooting, and spare parts by courier — we do not charge for spare parts under warranty.
What after-sales support is available?
After-sales support is provided through multiple channels: email support (response within 1 business day), WhatsApp/video call for real-time troubleshooting, spare parts supply for all standard models, and periodic maintenance visit for institutions within India. For international institutions, remote support covers 80–90% of issues with standard mechanical apparatus.
