1. Define the teaching or project task

2. Make the model requirement comparable

Ask every supplier to identify the offered model and list what is included. A meaningful comparison separates the core apparatus from accessories, services and site-side requirements. 3. Confirm delivery and installation constraints early

Country, delivery point and room conditions can change the configuration questions that need to be answered. Include only facts known at the time of enquiry; unknown requirements can be marked for confirmation rather than guessed.
