OEM lab equipment manufacturer in India: what a trading company needs to confirm before shortlisting us
If you are an import house, a sourcing agent or a project supplier holding a live buyer enquiry, you have a short list of things to establish before you spend another hour on a supplier. Are they the actual manufacturer or a reseller with a website. What do they build. Can they ship to your port. Who picks up the phone. This page answers those, then tells you exactly what to put in your first email so a usable quotation comes back on the first reply instead of after five rounds of clarification.
Direct line: [email protected]. WhatsApp or phone +91 7015865225. Enquiries are read by people who work at the factory, not by a call centre.
Who we are, in the fields you are probably filling into a vendor form
| Field | Answer |
|---|---|
| Business type | Manufacturer and exporter. We are not a trading company reselling other brands. |
| Works location | Ambala, Haryana, India. Design, fabrication and assembly happen at our own premises. |
| Established | 1993. |
| Export footprint | Supplied to 60 plus countries. |
| Quality system | ISO 9001:2015 certified. CE conformity documentation provided on applicable models. |
| Range | 320 plus products across engineering training, nursing, pharmacy and medical laboratory equipment. |
| Pricing model | Quote based. No public price list. Reasons are set out below. |
| Standard export terms | CIF or FOB, Nhava Sheva or Mundra. |
If your buyer requires proof of the quality system for a tender file, our quality certifications page carries the current documentation. One correction we make often: we hold ISO 9001:2015 as a manufacturer and we issue CE conformity documentation where the model is covered. We are not a NABL accredited testing laboratory and we will not let a document imply that we are.
What “OEM” honestly means in our case
The word gets used loosely in this trade, so here is our version of it.
We manufacture our own designs at our own works. The engineering, the drawings, the fabrication, the instrumentation selection and the final calibration are ours. When you buy from us, you are buying from the party that made the machine. That is the sense in which we are an OEM, and it is the sense that matters when your buyer asks whether there is a middleman in the chain.
Private label and customer-branded production is a separate conversation. We consider those enquiries case by case. Whether we can badge a unit with your mark, change a panel layout, alter a specification to match a tender clause or supply against your drawing depends on the model, the volume, the timeline and the technical change involved. Some requests are straightforward. Some are not worth doing for either side. We will tell you which one yours is after we see the specifics, and any commercial terms attached to a branded or exclusive arrangement are agreed at application review, not promised on a web page.
If your interest is a territory relationship rather than a one-off shipment, start at distributor appointment for lab equipment. If your buyer is a public institution and the tender demands a letter from the principal, we issue a manufacturer authorisation form (MAF) for lab equipment tenders, which is a document only a real manufacturer can sign.
What we manufacture
The core of the catalogue is engineering training equipment for technical institutes, polytechnics, universities and industrial training centres. The families are:
- Fluid mechanics lab equipment, including flow measurement, hydraulics benches, pipe friction and pump test rigs
- Strength of materials testing machines, including tensile, torsion, impact and hardness testing
- Thermodynamics and heat transfer apparatus
- Theory of machines and mechanisms apparatus
- Refrigeration and air conditioning trainers
- Renewable energy training equipment, covering solar, wind and related demonstration systems
- Process engineering and chemical engineering apparatus
- Water and wastewater treatment training units
- Automation, instrumentation and control trainers
- Vibration and dynamics apparatus
Alongside those we manufacture nursing lab equipment, pharmacy lab equipment and medical laboratory items for health science colleges.
Our in-house product families are FluidoSurge and FluidoSurgeX, FortiTestX, FrixoDynamics, ThermoFlux, ProDynami, ProZessix, HydraNexis, RVX and PolarX. If your buyer sends you a competitor model number, these families are usually where the equivalent sits. Four items that come up repeatedly in trade enquiries: universal hardness tester, torsion testing machine FortiTestX 10, impact testing machine FortiTestX 15 and the multi pump test rig FluidoSurgeX 294.
When your buyer has given you a department rather than a model list, the mechanical engineering lab equipment list and the civil engineering lab equipment list are the fastest way to convert a vague brief into a line-item enquiry.
Export mechanics
We quote CIF or FOB, shipping through Nhava Sheva or Mundra. Which port we use depends on consolidation and the sailing schedule for your destination. If your freight forwarder has a nominated port or a preferred line, say so in the enquiry and we will work to it where the routing allows.
The standard export documentation set accompanying a shipment includes:
- Commercial invoice and packing list
- Bill of lading or airway bill
- Certificate of origin
- Insurance certificate on CIF terms
- ISO 9001:2015 certificate and CE conformity documentation where the model is covered
- Test and calibration records for applicable equipment
- Manuals, wiring and experiment documentation
- Any pre-shipment inspection or legalisation paperwork your destination requires, arranged on request
If the buyer is new to Indian sourcing and keeps asking you procedural questions, hand them how to import lab equipment from India and get that traffic off your desk.
What actually determines the price
| Variable | Effect on the quotation |
|---|---|
| Model and specification | The single largest factor. A capacity change or an added measurement channel changes the build. |
| Quantity and mix | Batch quantities and multi-line orders are costed differently from a single unit. |
| Destination port and Incoterm | FOB and CIF are different numbers. Freight and insurance vary by lane and by season. |
| Voltage and frequency | Electrical build is set to your country standard, for example 220V 50Hz or 110V 60Hz, single or three phase. |
| Accessories and consumables | Specimens, spare sensors, extra test pieces and starter consumables are priced as listed items. |
| Packing | Seaworthy fumigated wooden crating, containerised versus loose cargo, and any special handling. |
| Documentation and inspection | Third party inspection, legalisation and additional certification carry their own cost. |
| Customisation | Drawing-based or tender-clause-driven changes are quoted after engineering review. |
Send us this and you get a usable quotation on the first reply
Most enquiries we receive say “please send price list and catalogue”. That produces a request for information, not a quotation, and it costs you two days. Put the following eight items in the first email instead.
| Send | Why we need it | Example |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Model or experiment | Names the build. If you have no model, name the experiment or the syllabus topic and we will map it. | “Impact testing machine, Charpy and Izod” or “friction loss in pipes experiment” |
| 2. Quantity per line | Sets the costing basis and the production slot. | “3 units of each, 11 line items” |
| 3. Destination port and country | Drives freight, insurance and routing. | “Jebel Ali, UAE” or “Dammam, Saudi Arabia” |
| 4. Incoterm required | We quote FOB or CIF. Tell us which one the buyer is comparing on. | “CIF Jebel Ali” |
| 5. Voltage, frequency and phase | Electrical equipment is built to your standard, not converted later. | “220V, 50Hz, single phase” |
| 6. Accessories and consumables | Decides whether the price is machine-only or a working set on day one. | “Include standard specimen set and one spare load cell” |
| 7. Spec document, BOQ or tender extract | Lets us quote against the exact clause instead of guessing intent. | PDF or Excel attachment |
| 8. Your role and the deadline | Tells us whether to answer as a trade quotation or a tender-grade submission. | “Sourcing agent, buyer submission closes end of the month” |
If you would rather send a structured document than an email body, use our laboratory equipment RFQ checklist template. For public tenders, the tender compliance matrix template and the tender documents checklist for government colleges will tell you what your buyer is going to demand before they demand it. Where the end user is an accredited engineering college, NBA accreditation lab documentation explains the paperwork they need attached to the equipment.
Why there is no price list on this website
This is a deliberate policy, not an oversight, and it works in your favour more often than it annoys you.
A published figure would be wrong for almost every enquiry that reaches us. The same catalogue number changes price with voltage build, accessory set, packing, quantity, destination and Incoterm. A trader who quotes a buyer off a stale published number ends up either losing the order on a bad margin or going back to the buyer with a revision, which is worse.
There is a second reason. A public list is a gift to a competitor who wants to undercut a line item without building anything, and it makes your position weaker when you are the one facing the buyer. We would rather give you a firm, current, configuration-specific number that you can quote from with confidence.
So we do not send price lists. We send quotations. The difference is that a quotation is valid for what you actually asked about.
How the conversation usually runs
You send the eight items above. We come back with a line-item quotation on your Incoterm, with specifications attached, plus a note on anything in your buyer’s spec that we would build differently and why. If the enquiry is tender-linked, we tell you at that stage what supporting documents we can issue and which clauses we can meet as written.
From there it is commercial. Payment terms, inspection, packing detail and shipment planning are settled directly with the person quoting you, and we do not hand you between departments to get an answer.
One honest note on qualification. We answer serious enquiries quickly and in detail. Enquiries with no destination, no quantity and no model tend to be catalogue collection rather than a live order, and they go to the back of the queue. If your enquiry is real, spend the four minutes on the eight items and you will feel the difference in the reply.
Send the enquiry

One honest ask
We don't gate anything on this site. You just read the whole thing free. If it was useful, leave your email and two things happen: we send you this page as a plain-text block you can paste into a tender file or an internal email, and we notify you the next time we publish a buyer tool like this one. Nothing else. No drip sequence, no sales calls booked without asking.
