Wind Energy Training System | RVX-007
The Wind Energy Training System RVX-007 is a modular wind power training platform demonstrating kinetic-to-mechanical and mechanical-to-electrical energy conversion using a live wind turbine setup. It supports three experiments covering no-load voltage measurement, velocity and output relationships, and independent AC output system operation. The system includes a Wind Turbine Module, AC three-phase motor, AC Motor Driver, AC to DC Converter, MPPT Charge Controller, Off-Grid Inverter, and a Measuring Module with RPM for voltage, current, and speed measurement. DAQ software designed in National Instruments LabVIEW is included and runs on any Windows system.

Construction and Design
The Wind Energy Training System RVX-007 is built on a modular frame accommodating eight discrete modules. The wind power training platform features a Wind Turbine Module driven by an AC three-phase motor with an AC Motor Driver, replicating wind turbine drive conditions. An AC to DC Converter rectifies the turbine output for battery charging via the MPPT Charge Controller. An Off-Grid Inverter Module provides AC output from stored energy. A Measuring Module with RPM provides voltage, current, and rotational speed measurement on a single module. The battery (12V standard, 24V on demand) is not included and must be sourced by the end user. All modules connect via the included set of cables.
Software
DAQ software specially designed in the National Instruments LabVIEW environment to measure and calculate experimental results. A set of electronic sensors is included for use with the software. Compatible with any Windows operating system.

Required for Operation
Battery: 12V (24V on demand), Not included; must be arranged by end user
Q1. What energy conversion principles does the Wind Energy Training System RVX-007 demonstrate?
The system demonstrates conversion of kinetic wind energy into mechanical energy via the wind turbine, and mechanical energy into electrical energy via the generator, covering both conceptual and applied aspects.
Q2. Is the battery included with the RVX-007?
No. The battery (12V standard, 24V on demand) is not included due to export policy and must be arranged by the end user.
Q3. How is wind turbine operation simulated on the RVX-007?
An AC three-phase motor with an AC Motor Driver replicates wind turbine drive conditions, enabling controlled indoor training without dependence on actual wind conditions.
Q4. What measurements can be taken on the RVX-007?
The wind power training platform supports measurement of no-load voltage, output voltage and current via installed voltmeter and ammeter, and turbine rotational speed via the installed RPM meter.
Q5. What experiments are supported by the RVX-007?
The system supports three experiments: no-load voltage of the wind turbine, wind turbine velocity and output relation, and independent wind energy AC output system operation.
