Safety Equipment for Electrical Labs

  • Earth leakage circuit breakers (ELCB) on all benches
  • Rubber mats at all work positions (IS 5424)
  • Insulated gloves (Class 0, 1000V rated)
  • Fire extinguisher (CO₂ type), one per 50 sq.m.
  • First aid kit with burn treatment supplies
  • Isolation switches at each experimental bench

AICTE and NBA Compliance Notes

For NBA accreditation of EE/EEE programmes, ensure the machines lab has a minimum of one motor-generator set per 2 students for each experiment. Power analyser with harmonics analysis capability is increasingly required under the revised NBA 2024 criteria.

    One honest ask

We don't gate anything on this site. You just read the whole thing free. If it was useful, leave your email and two things happen: we send you this page as a plain-text block you can paste into a tender file or an internal email, and we notify you the next time we publish a buyer tool like this one. Nothing else. No drip sequence, no sales calls booked without asking.
