Poultry incinerator manufacturer in India
We manufacture incinerators at our own works in Ambala, Haryana, and we have been manufacturing and exporting equipment since 1993 to buyers in more than 60 countries. This page covers one application in that line: on-site thermal disposal of poultry mortality and associated waste at layer and broiler farms, hatcheries, breeding and grandparent units, processing plants, and the veterinary and agricultural institutions that run poultry facilities. The short answer, before the detail. A poultry incinerator is sized around your worst week, not your average week. It is approved around your State Pollution Control Board, not around anybody’s brochure. And the two most expensive mistakes we see are buying to the routine daily load and starting the consent process after placing the order. Everything below expands those points.
Mortality disposal is an operational problem before it is an equipment problem
Every poultry unit generates mortality. It is predictable in normal weeks and completely unpredictable in bad ones. The disposal method you choose has to work on both kinds of week, because the week you cannot handle is the week that costs you the flock, the site, or the customer contract.
Buyers come to on-site incineration for reasons that have little to do with the machine itself:
- Disease containment. Carcasses leaving the farm gate are a movement of potentially infected material. Handling the waste where it is generated removes that movement entirely.
- Movement restrictions. During a notified disease event, vehicle movement in and out of a control zone can be restricted by the competent animal husbandry authority. A disposal route that depends on a truck arriving is a disposal route that can be switched off at the exact moment you need it most.
- Distance and logistics. Many farms sit a long way from any rendering plant or common facility. Once transport cost and cold holding are added, collection stops looking cheap.
- Biosecurity of the perimeter. A collection vehicle that services several farms is a shared surface between those farms.
- Hatchery and processing waste. Unhatched eggs, culls, shell waste and processing rejects arrive on a schedule, not at random, and the site usually wants them gone the same day.
Against that, on-site incineration means you own an emissions-regulated asset, you need consents, you need fuel and a trained operator, and you carry the maintenance. That is a real trade, not a formality. The comparison below is how buyers usually frame it. Which options are permitted at your site is a question for your State Pollution Control Board and your state animal husbandry department, and you should confirm it before you commit capital.

The poultry waste profile and what it demands from the build
Poultry mortality is not general waste and it is not biomedical waste. It behaves differently in a chamber and it should be specified differently.

State the actual mix in your enquiry. A unit specified for whole-bird mortality with litter is not the same unit as one specified for hatchery shell waste, even at a similar throughput.
Sizing: the trade-off you have to decide, not us
This is the single question that decides whether the purchase works, and it is the one most enquiries arrive without an answer to.
Your routine load is the daily mortality your unit produces in a normal month. Your peak load is what a heat event, a disease event, a ventilation failure, or a depopulation decision produces in a day. The two numbers are not close to each other. A farm that sizes on the routine figure has a machine that runs comfortably for years and is useless on the one day it is genuinely needed, which is when carcasses accumulate faster than the unit clears them and the site is suddenly looking for a truck it cannot get.
The honest framing is a trade with three options, and the buyer has to pick:

The third route is the one most farms should look at seriously, but it only works if the unit is specified for repeated daily cycling from the start. Refractory, door hardware and burner duty all differ between a unit that runs one cycle a day and one that runs several. Tell us which pattern you intend and we build for it. Retrofitting cycle duty into a unit bought for occasional use does not work well.
We do not publish capacity figures on this page because a capacity number without your waste description, your cycle pattern and your fuel is a marketing number rather than an engineering one. Send the inputs and you get a figure that means something.

Siting and biosecurity, at a categorical level
Siting is decided by your veterinarian, your biosecurity plan and your consenting authority. What we can tell you is which factors show up in almost every siting conversation, so that you raise them before the concrete is poured:
- Distance and orientation relative to bird sheds, and prevailing wind direction across the site.
- Separation from feed storage and from the potable water source.
- Distance from habitation and from the site boundary, as specified by the applicable rules and your State Pollution Control Board, which you must confirm for your site.
- Whether the carcass route to the unit crosses the clean traffic route on the farm. If it does, the layout is working against the biosecurity plan.
- Vehicle and personnel access for fuel delivery and for maintenance, without that access cutting through a clean zone.
- A hard standing area that can be cleaned, and drainage that does not run toward the sheds.
- Ash storage before disposal, and where the ash finally goes.
This page specifies equipment. It does not advise on disease management, outbreak response or depopulation. Those decisions belong to your veterinarian and the competent animal husbandry authority, and they should be made before an event, not during one.
Approvals: what exists, and what you must confirm
Installing and operating an incinerator in India is a regulated activity. Treat the approvals as part of the project schedule, not as paperwork that follows delivery.
- Consent to establish and consent to operate are obtained from your State Pollution Control Board. The application usually precedes installation, so start it early.
- The Central Pollution Control Board issues guidelines relevant to incineration. Your State Board applies them and may impose site-specific conditions.
- Where a facility also handles biomedical waste, the Bio-Medical Waste Management Rules apply to that stream. A veterinary institution running both a clinical service and a poultry unit should be clear about which stream is which.
- Every numeric parameter that matters, including operating temperatures, retention, stack dimensions, monitoring obligations and separation distances, is set by the applicable rules and your State Pollution Control Board. Confirm those parameters for your site and your waste stream in writing before fabrication begins.
We build to suit the parameters that you and your consenting authority specify. We do not represent any unit as compliant with, approved under, or certified to an environmental regulation. That determination belongs to the authority granting your consent, and any supplier who tells you otherwise on a website is telling you something they cannot support. Buying routes and the documents each one needs

If your purchase runs through a tender or a scheme, two documents cause most of the delays we see. Judging the manufacturer, including us
Apply the same test to every quotation you receive. Our page on manufacturer due diligence sets out the full method. The short version for this category:
- Does the supplier manufacture, or resell? Ask where the works is and ask to see it.
- Will they put the waste description you gave them into the offer, in writing, or do they quote a model number against a one-line enquiry?
- Do they claim regulatory compliance for you, or do they build to what your consenting authority specifies? The first is a warning sign.
- What happens after commissioning? Refractory and burner components are consumables on any incinerator, and spare parts and after-sales support matter more here than on almost anything else we make.
- What documentation comes with the unit? Ours is listed under quality certifications, and product literature sits in downloads.
Our own position, stated plainly. We are ISO 9001:2015 certified and hold CE conformity documentation on applicable models. We are not ISO/IEC 17025 or NABL accredited, and we supply factory calibration certificates only, not accredited calibration. If a tender demands accredited calibration, that requirement has to be met by an accredited laboratory and we will tell you so at the enquiry stage. We would rather lose an order on that point than have you discover it during technical evaluation.

Send the specification checklist above, filled in as far as you can. If a field is unknown, write unknown rather than guessing, because a guessed peak load produces a wrong machine and a wrong machine on a poultry site is not a small problem.
Useful additions: a site sketch showing the sheds, the boundary and the proposed location; your fuel situation; any conditions your State Pollution Control Board has already indicated; and the buying route, since a tender build and a direct purchase need different documentation from us at different times.
